EDB, EBRD to expand coop in transport, energy, infrastructure
MOSCOW, Dec 15 (PRIME) -- The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed a memorandum of understanding that allows them to expand cooperation in several spheres, including transport, energy and infrastructure improvement, the EDRB said in a statement Tuesday.
In July 2014, the majority of the EBRD’s board of directors ordered the bank’s management not to invest in Russia in the nearest future. The E.U. leaders recommended the EBRD and the European Investment Bank suspend financing of new joint projects with Russia.
